Our Suppliers
Behind our great ice cream is a vision to help those who've suffered the gravest of injustices through being trapped in human trafficking or slavery. These two crimes against humanity may seem beyond our ability to stop, but at Just-Ice we believe that these things can be eradicated in our time, and that by pulling together we can achieve this. That is why we care deeply about who we work with and where we get the ingredients to make what we serve you.
Coffee
Manumit
Our coffee comes from a brilliant social enterprise in Cardiff who seeks to supply people with delicious coffee beans from their roasters, and help support survivors of modern slavery.
Tea
Nemi
Our teas come from a specialist London-based company that provides refugees with employment opportunities, job skills and help to integrate into community. Their beautiful tea bags are plastic free and they are fairtrade and organic certified. Changing lives with every sip.
Chocolate

Willie is a chocolate enthusiast who is both cacao bean farmer and artisan chocolate maker. His ethical sourcing is at the heart of his business, buying beans directly from farmers in Venezuela and using only natural ingredients. The taste is sublime, but don’t just take our word for it!

Fruit and Veg
The Potty Plotters
The Potty Plotters are friends Julia and Elaine, allotmenteers on Ashbourne Road and District allotments in Derby. Mad as a box of frogs the pair of them! They bring us their seasonal wares (rhubarb & blackcurrants this year) and life is better because they are in it. Check out their podcast for growing tips and hilarity.
R & L Fruits
These guys were our neighbours in Derby Market Hall when we were just rookies starting out! Rob is passionate about his fresh produce, supremely knowledgeable and more importantly understands the dangers of exploitation in this industry. We love their deliveries to the bakehouse and the personal touch they bring.

Cones
Wafer
Wafer is a family owned business in Ireland that makes our cones and wafer tubs. These guys are always on hand to give us advice about recipes and were our saviours in the early days when we made frozen scrambled egg! Fear not, we’ve mightily improved :-)
