Want To Get Involved?

Here are 3 ways you can volunteer, be part of the Just-Ice Team and make a difference.

Office Support - Labelling

Another important part of our business are the take home tubs that we sell on line and in our cafes. We are also looking for ctronacts to supply both the large fancily tubs and our smaller individual portions. We have a wonderful new potting machine but the thing that slows our kitchen team down is preparing the tubs for the day’s ice cream production. If you have 2-3 hours spare each week or each month, and you don’t mind sitting and sticking labels on empty tubs, then please sign up using the button below. We’d love to hear from you and find a suitable time for you to come to our new offices in Darley Abbey, so click the button below to explore this possibility. Thank you.

Towing

Can you tow and do you enjoy driving? If so you could play a vital role in our events business, towing Rosa or Wilber to events in a 45 mile radius from Derby. Weddings, fairs, shows and parties are a key facet in helping us achieve our goal of supporting survivors of Modern Day Slavery and we would really like a pool of drivers who could help us deliver a busy summer season when we make the most of the great British weather!

The trike trailer is light and easy to tow, but the horse box is heavy and really needs a 2 litre engine.

Events vary in distance and duration, so sometimes it might be best to bring a book and enjoy the area or event, and other times drop off and return when it’s all over. Either way you’d be helping us “serve justice”. If you’d like to sign up or investigate the possibilities please hit the button below and fill out the form. Thank you.

Admin Support - Data Input

Do you like spreadsheets?! If you have 2-3 hours per week you could help with all sorts of record keeping at our new offices in Darley Abbey. Timings would be flexible to suit you and it goes without saying there’d be a plentiful supply of ice cream!

If this floats your boat, please click the button below to explore more. Thank you.
